future-proof E-Mobility

E-Mobility - Opportunities and challenges for Europe

Companies from various sectors make use of our testing services, which were developed here ourselves. Even if the market for e-vehicles is somewhat weak at the moment, we are firmly convinced of the future of electromobility and the development of high-performance batteries.

“Automotive manufacturers from Asia are currently pushing into the European market with new car brands. It has been recognized here that e-mobility is the future. Unfortunately, current modern cells for e-mobility come almost exclusively from this region. This expertise must and can be built up in Europe in order to be able to keep up economically in the future,” says Max Hofer. “Appropriate political countermeasures must be taken to drive forward development and secure important jobs.”

Expertise from Styria

For Max Hofer, it is clear that the high level of prosperity can be maintained if Europe manages to get involved in e-mobility. The Styrian region in particular with the hotspot Graz and the ACstyria Mobilitätscluster, has many competent specialists who have the necessary expertise. Europe would thus be in a position to provide important resources, technologies and know-how itself in order to be able to act economically independently.
